Meet Dr. Tiffany Harrison
Meet Dr. Tiffany Harrison
I’m a wife, mom of two, educator, entrepreneur, creator, and native New Yorker now living in Delaware. I love to travel, get dressed up, laugh with my girlfriends, binge a good TV show, try new things, and turn an ordinary day into something worth remembering.
I also really like being comfortable, have been known to start thinking about Christmas entirely too early, and will probably always have another idea, trip, or project I want to try.
Basically, my life has never fit neatly into one box.
That’s part of how Tiffany Does It All came to be.
About Tiffany Does It All
I started Tiffany Does It All in 2020 when I was deep in the working-mom years, raising two little kids while building my career, finishing my doctorate, growing a business, and trying to maintain some version of a life outside of all those responsibilities.
Back then, “doing it all” felt pretty literal.
And if I’m being truthful, I spent a lot of those years doing what I thought I should do.
Build the career. Earn the degree. Be a good wife and mom. Show up. Be responsible. Accomplish the next thing. Keep everything moving.
I’m proud of the life I’ve built and the things I’ve accomplished. But somewhere along the way, I started asking myself a different question:
What do I actually enjoy?
My kids are older now. I’ve changed. What I want from my life has changed too.
I’m still responsible. I’m still ambitious. There will always be things that need to get done and people who need me.
I just don’t want those things to take up all the room anymore.
I want to take the trip because I want to go. Wear something because it makes me feel good. Spend the afternoon laughing with my friends. Try something I’ve always been curious about. Make memories with my family. Start a project just because I’m excited about it. And sometimes enjoy an ordinary Tuesday without needing it to be productive at all.
That’s what Tiffany Does It All is about today.
Doing it all, and making room for joy.
Sometimes I get it right. Sometimes I absolutely do not.
I’ll tell you about both.
A Little More About Me
I was born and raised in Far Rockaway, Queens, and New York will always be home. These days, I live in Delaware with my husband, Martin, and our two children, Annalise and Deuce.
I’m an educator by profession and earned my doctorate in Higher Education Leadership and Innovation in 2021. I also hold a master’s degree from Drexel University and bachelor’s degrees in English and Mass Communications from Lincoln University of Pennsylvania.
Education has been a huge part of my life, but creativity has always been right there alongside it.
I’ve been writing and creating for as long as I can remember. I’m also an entrepreneur and the owner of Doing It All Designs, my digital product business. Over the years, Tiffany Does It All has given me the opportunity to work with brands I genuinely enjoy while building something of my own outside of my career.
And yes, there are still days when I look at everything on my plate and wonder who exactly authorized all of this.
What You’ll Find Here
You’ll find a little bit of everything here because that’s pretty true to my actual life.
I’ll share the trips I think are worth taking, everyday adventures, personal style, family life, things I’m trying, things I’m loving, ideas I’m excited about, what I’m learning as an entrepreneur, and the occasional story about something that did not go remotely according to plan.
Sometimes we’ll talk about creating experiences and traditions with the people we love. Sometimes I’ll tell you where I went, what I wore, what I bought, what worked, or whether something was actually worth the money.
And sometimes we’ll just talk about life.
You’ll see my family here too, but this space is ultimately about my experience as a woman figuring out what she wants this part of her life to feel like.
For years, “doing it all” meant proving I could handle everything on my plate.
I don’t need it to mean that anymore.
Now, I’m much more interested in doing the things I have to do without forgetting about the things I want to do.
Taking the picture and then putting the phone down.
Wearing the outfit.
Taking the trip.
Calling the friend.
Trying the thing.
Using the good dishes.
Laughing until my stomach hurts.
Making the memory even when everything isn’t perfect.
And yes, decorating for Christmas before my husband believes any reasonable person should.
I don’t think joy has to be big or life-changing to count. Sometimes it’s a vacation you’ve been planning for months. Sometimes it’s brunch with your girlfriends. Sometimes it’s sitting on your couch watching terrible television when you could probably be doing something more “productive.”
I’m learning to make room for all of it.
So when I say Tiffany Does It All now, I don’t mean squeezing more into an already full life.
I mean recognizing that “all” gets to include me, too.
My interests. My curiosity. My friendships. My adventures. My rest. My laughter. The things that make me feel like myself.
My joy gets to be on the list.
If you’re somewhere in that season too, stick around.
We have a lot to talk about.
Until next time, keep doing it all and making room for joy.
